Luana by Russ Manning
The Euro Jungle Girl flick LUANA sure did have an awesome batch of help. Frazetta poster art and here we have Russ Manning doing a short strip. Enjoy!! Click the strips and soak up the awesome!
Wow, a Russ Manning "topless jungle girl" strip ???? Warren should have snapped at the chance to pick up the rights and pay Manning to continue the strip. As for the movie.... never saw it but I did buy the Alan Dean Foster novelization. When I found him standing in line with me at a D.C. deli, I told him I'd just read it. He laughed and said "Lousy movie, great book!"
Frazetta's and Manning's art make the movie seem much better than it was.

I liked the movie! It's one of my favorite romantic movies and that's why I'm here to see this beautiful comic strip
